OK so this is why we came to Utah. And I admit it is a longer rout to Silverton this summer. But I did get to "mark" five new states for my map. (I would put a dumb smiley face here, but you know dogs can‘t smile.) This is on US 40 just before going into Colorado, marker 171 (Do want to thank DOT for putting mile marker signs where I do my business.
This is the dam across the Green river creating the Flaming Gorge Reservoir, The observation point is off of US 191.
Judging by the scat along the path to the observation platform, a family of bears were checking out the view shortly before we got there. Do bear tourists wear sunglasses and dumb Bermuda shorts?
