Kansas sure is dark at one in the morning. Glad the Flying "J" on I70 at exit 253 provides a nice well lit pet rest area.

Not sure things look any better in the daytime. This is a nice large rest area, with trees. Here on I70 at milepost 48, there does seem to be a lot of there out there.
Every time I travel through this part of Kansas I notice these unique sandstone fence post.
I don't see them anywhere except around here, milepost 224 along I70.
This stone post is in a vary nice rest area. I have seen these rough cut post still in use along the highway.
